Honda's
VTEC engines have become an important part of the Sport Compact
market. Use of a dry sump lubrication system is often required
when the engine performance is boosted through use of power-adders
like turbochargers, superchargers or nitrous oxide. Aviaid manufactures
complete bolt-in systems for the popular Honda "B" series
(1.6L and 1.7L), "K" series, and the new "F" series
S2000 engines. As of this writing, Aviaid is developing a low-profile
billet aluminum pan for the VTEC that's ideally suited to Drifting
and Autocross-type competition where the lowest possible CG is
desired.
